Our Curriculum
Early Discoveries offers a play based thematic curriculum that focuses on creative thinking, early literacy and developing essential skills. Our center cares for children from Toddlerhood to Kindergarten Readiness. Our goal is to teach, inspire and create a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning. Our curriculum includes math, literacy, science, creative arts and social skills.
We believe that it is vital to promote a strong connection between our center, home and our community. We offer separate classrooms, a qualified nurturing staff and a beautiful, private outdoor setting.
Our many activities include: Visitors, outdoor play, dramatic play, art activities using many different media, science experiments, cooking, fine motor activities (puzzles, stringing beads, play doh), large motor activities (running, jumping, climbing), cooking, building with different materials, games that teach skill building, pre-writing, cooperation and self-help skills.
Our visitors include Mother Goose, Peter the Singing Man, Rainforest Reptiles, Curious Creatures, puppeteers and storytellers, among others.
Through our program children learn and grow in all areas of development while preparing for a lifetime of learning.
