Bethany Allen

Owner/Director/Lead Teacher, Kindergarten Readiness     

Bethany Allen is the Director/Co-owner and Kindergarten Readiness teacher at Early Discoveries. She has been a part of the staff here for 24 years. Beth attended Salem State College and North Shore Community College. She holds a certificate from EEC for Lead Teacher Infant/Toddler, Lead Teacher Preschool, Director 1 and Director 2. She has been in the early education field for 34 years. Beth is married with 3 beautiful children all of whom are Early Discoveries graduates. She loves camping in Maine and traveling anywhere with her family.


Renee Momperousse

Owner/Director

Renee Momperousse was raised in East Boston and graduated from East Boston High School in 2005. She went on to North Shore Community College to further her education in Early Childhood Education. Renee has been teaching in early education for 16 years and is the Director and a co-owner of Early Discoveries Child Care Center. Renee had worked at Early Discoveries for 12 years before she and Beth took over as owners in 2019. Renee is a wife and a mom to 2 beautiful children. When she is not at Early Discoveries, she loves spending time with her family, traveling and taking their annual trip to Disney!


Marissa Maillet

Lead Teacher, Toddler

Marissa was raised in Saugus, where she graduated high school. While there, Marissa played field hockey and swam competitively. After high school, she worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor. During her time at those jobs, Marissa learned that she enjoyed helping children set and achieve their goals. Marissa graduated college in 2016 with degrees in Early Childhood Education and Developmental Disabilities. Since graduating college, she has enjoyed her time teaching in the toddler classroom. When not teaching, you can find Marissa skiing or snowboarding through the White Mountains in New Hampshire or floating with her family on Lake Ossipee.


Chloe Johnson

Lead Teacher, Pre-Kindergarten

Chloe Johnson is a Pre-Kindergarten teacher and is Director Certified.
Chloe graduated in 2008 from Danvers High School. In 2012, she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Early Childhood Education from Westfield State University. Chloe started at Early Discoveries in 2006 and has been here for 13 years (and counting!) She also has experience working with kindergartners and fourth graders at Danvers Public Schools. After experiencing child care centers in Arizona and Florida, Chloe says that Early Discoveries has and always will be her HOME! Chloe loves working with young children and watching them blossom throughout the year. She is an aunt to a niece and nephew who currently live in Mississippi. Outside of teaching, Chloe enjoys spending time with friends and family. Some favorites are the color green, anything camo and brownies. :-)


Daniela Zomosa

Afternoon Teacher

Daniela Zomosa is originally from Chile and has been in the United States for 30 years.
Daniela is grateful that this country has gave her the opportunity to go to high school and college to continue her education. She majored in Early Childhood Education – always knowing in her heart that she wanted to teach children. Daniela graduated from Bunker Hill Community College with an ECE in Science Associated degree in 2000.
In 2009 she went back to North Shore Community College to get her certification in Community/Medical Interpreting. Daniela has been teaching for almost 21 years now and works as a Paraprofessional Aide in the Lynn Public Schools and also as a teacher at Early Discoveries for the past three years, looking forward to many more!


Mary Russo

Lead Teacher, Pre-School

Mary has been working in the Early Childhood field for over 25 years in a variety of roles, including preschool director and classroom teacher. She has been a Lead Teacher in the preschool class at Early Discoveries for 6 years. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and is certified to teach in Massachusetts through the Department of Early Education and Care.
Mary enjoys bringing music and movement into her classroom. She has a particular interest in yoga, and she enjoys sharing yoga with children in the classroom, drawing on her years of personal practice as well as coursework in children's yoga. She loves exploring nature outdoors with the children and building literacy through children's books and songs.
